About Us

When the Job Needs to Be Done Right

Left Coast Exteriors is the exterior remodeling contractor Pacific Northwest homeowners call when the work needs to be done right. Family-owned, manufacturer-certified, and built around one principle: honest work, clear communication, and a team that's accountable from estimate to final walkthrough.

Built on Craft, Grounded in the Pacific Northwest

Left Coast Exteriors was founded in Vancouver, Washington by Cory, who spent years working inside the exterior remodeling industry before building something of his own. Working for companies including Legit, he watched the same pattern repeat across different organizations: production schedules took priority over people, customer calls went unanswered, and problems that should have been caught early were buried until they became someone else's problem. That experience made one thing clear. The industry didn't need another contractor who could install a roof. It needed one that would actually take care of the homeowner. Left Coast Exteriors was built around that standard, and it hasn't changed since day one.

Our manufacturer certifications aren't marketing badges; they represent training, testing, and accountability to the companies whose products we stake our reputation on. Malarkey, James Hardie, ProVia, TimberTech, and Fiberon have each vetted our installation practices and approved us to deliver their extended warranty programs. When we install a product, you get the full protection of both our workmanship guarantee and the manufacturer's warranty behind it.

Pacific Northwest homes face a specific set of challenges: relentless seasonal rain, Gorge wind events, moss and algae growth, and the structural stress of freeze-thaw cycles. We've spent years learning exactly what materials, flashing techniques, and installation sequences hold up in this climate. We apply that knowledge to every estimate and every job site. When we hand you a project scope, it reflects what your home actually needs.

What Drives Us

The Values Behind Every Project

These aren't slogans. They're the operating principles we return to every time we're on a job site, writing an estimate, or talking to a homeowner who's not sure what they need.

Craftsmanship First

Speed matters, but correctness matters more. We follow manufacturer installation specifications precisely because cutting corners is what causes warranty claims, callbacks, and failed inspections. We'd rather take an extra half day and get it right than rush through and owe you a return trip.

Honest Communication

Every estimate we write is itemized: materials, labor, equipment, waste disposal, and any project-specific prep work. You should never have to wonder what's included or how a number was reached. If we discover something unexpected mid-project, we communicate it immediately and in writing before we proceed. That standard doesn't change once the contract is signed.

Manufacturer-Certified

We're certified by every brand we install. That's not a coincidence. It's a deliberate choice to work within systems where installation quality is verified and where extended warranties protect you beyond what a generic contractor can offer. Certification takes work. We think it's worth it.

Dependable Service

We live and work in the communities where we build, and we're here after the project is done. When you call, you reach the same team who did the work. Exterior remodeling can be stressful; our job is to take as much of that friction off the homeowner as possible: clear timelines, proactive communication, and a walkthrough before we consider anything complete.

Our Team

The People Behind the Projects

A team with real depth in the trades and a shared commitment to doing right by the homeowner. Everyone here brings years of hands-on industry experience and a consistent focus on making the process easier for the people we work with.

Leadership

Cory

Owner & Founder

Cory founded Left Coast Exteriors after years in the industry working for companies, including Legit, where he watched the same pattern repeat: production schedules took priority over people, problems got buried, and homeowners were left holding the consequences. That experience drove him to build something different. Left Coast runs on a clear standard: do the work right, communicate honestly, and put the customer first. Cory's view is that protecting a client's investment, even when it costs more in the short term, is what builds a real reputation. That standard has defined the company since day one.

Marcos

General Manager

Marcos spent more than a decade in roofing before joining Left Coast Exteriors, starting as an installer who learned the craft from the ground up, then managing complex jobs from inspection through completion. A disabled Army veteran, he brings the same discipline and commitment to his work here that he carried through his military service. He's steady when projects get complicated, precise in how he manages crews and timelines, and focused on doing right by every homeowner. He takes particular pride in serving fellow veterans and military families.

Sophia

Office Manager

Sophia manages the operations that keep every project on track: scheduling, client communication, documentation, and the coordination details that determine whether a job runs smoothly. As a mother of three boys, she brings a level of organizational discipline and steady reliability that shows up in everything she does. Clients regularly note that talking to Sophia early in the process put them at ease, and that's not coincidence. It's how she works, and it's why the business runs as well as it does.

Sales & Support

Josh

Sales

Josh is an experienced estimator with deep roots in the trades. He grew up around roofing and contracting. It's part of his family's background, and that foundation shows in how thoroughly he approaches every project. His estimates are detailed, his recommendations are practical, and he doesn't oversell.

Quincy

Canvas Team Manager

Quincy manages the canvas team and has spent more than 20 years helping homeowners identify and solve exterior problems. He leads with professionalism and a genuine respect for the neighborhoods his team works in. Homeowners regularly note that the interaction feels different from a typical contractor sales call, because it is.

Steve

Business Development

Steve manages business development and B2B relationships, including partnerships, outreach programs, and the organizational systems that support operations. With nearly two decades of sales experience, he understands how to build and maintain trust at every level. He also serves as the company's behind-the-scenes IT resource.

Joey

Marketing Manager

Joey brings decades of marketing experience in the home exteriors industry to Left Coast Exteriors. His understanding of how homeowners make decisions, and what separates a company that earns long-term trust from one that doesn't, informs how we communicate our real differentiators. It's the kind of perspective that only comes from a long career in a specific field.

Community

Rooted Here. Invested Here.

Left Coast Exteriors is based in Southwest Washington, and the people here live here too. We support local youth sports, neighborhood parks, and community events, not because it's good marketing, but because these are our neighbors.

The families who trust us with their homes are the same ones we see at the school fundraiser and the youth league field. Giving back is part of how this company operates. It's not a formal program or a line item in a budget. It's a reflection of what the people here actually value: showing up for the community that's shown up for us.

Our Certifications

Manufacturer-Certified Across Every Service

Contractor certification programs exist because installation quality directly affects product performance and warranty validity. Our certifications aren't optional extras. They're the foundation of every warranty we deliver.

Malarkey Roofing Products

Certified Installer

Malarkey's certification program verifies that installers follow their proprietary installation guidelines, which are more demanding than standard industry practice. As a certified installer, we unlock Malarkey's extended workmanship warranties, available only through their approved contractor network. Malarkey shingles are manufactured in the Pacific Northwest and specifically engineered for high-moisture, high-wind environments.

James Hardie Building Products

Preferred Remodeler

James Hardie's Preferred Remodeler designation is awarded to contractors who complete Hardie's installation training, maintain proper licensing and insurance, and demonstrate a track record of quality installations. Preferred Remodeler status is required to offer the full 30-year non-prorated product warranty plus the enhanced workmanship warranty on HardiePlank, HardiePanel, and HardieShingle products.

ProVia Windows & Doors

Authorized Dealer & Installer

ProVia's authorized dealer program ensures that homeowners receive windows installed by trained professionals who understand the specific requirements of each ProVia product line. Authorized installer status is required to register ProVia's limited lifetime warranty and to access their Energy Star certification documentation, which is often required for utility rebate programs in Washington and Oregon.

TimberTech & Fiberon Decking

Authorized Installer

TimberTech and Fiberon authorize installers who have completed their respective training programs and can demonstrate familiarity with composite decking's unique expansion, fastening, and ventilation requirements. Authorized installer status is required to register both brands' 25-50 year product warranties and their fade and stain warranties: the warranties that separate composite decking from pressure-treated wood as a long-term investment.
